"I was interested in finding a dress for a black-tie wedding that I could also wear for other cocktail/formal events in the future. I am not much of a shopper, and certainly do not enjoy searching for anything ‘formal’. When my friend mentioned that I should reach out to Caroline, I did not hesitate. I have known Caroline for many years and love her style. The thought of someone else doing all the leg work of the search was right up my alley. Caroline not only delivered but managed to do so on the first day of shopping at the first store! We even managed to squeeze in time to find shoes to match.

“The 2 hours I spent with Caroline getting my packing list done for a 3 week overseas trip last summer, was invaluable. I was traveling to the ski fields followed by a summer trip. We worked out what I’d be doing and then put together some great outfits, shoes and accessories. Caroline sent me a list of what we’d decided and I packed the week before we left on December 27th. I had no last minute ‘throw everything into a bag and then arrive with nothing to wear.’ I even had my plane outfit ready.

“Engaging Mrs Jones to help me prepare a Travel Capsule prior to my 10-day trip to LA & New York last June was one of my smartest moves of 2023. I issued her a challenge - I wanted to take hand luggage only.

The things I appreciated most about the service were fourfold. After researching the weather and our specific destinations, Caroline arrived with a clarity of vision coupled with a fun, but no-nonsense approach. She created combinations with existing pieces - including shoes and accessories - that I had never thought to put together, and they looked unreal! My goal of taking hand luggage only was achieved, yet I still had so many outfits that I loved. And the clincher … I wore EVERY SINGLE THING I packed - definitely a first for me!! “I was about to depart on a ‘spend the inheritance’ holiday in Europe when I realised my wardrobe would need a boost. I live, what is classified by Telstra as “rural and remote” so access to retail stores is very limited. I also have a condition that limits my mobility. I tried online shopping with mixed success.

Styled by Mrs Jones was recommended to me by a friend. After completing a survey and telephone chat we arranged to meet on a visit to Sydney which coincided with medical appointments.

Caroline was a delight. As we strolled around a large department store casually chatting about colours, styles and preferences, Caroline soon had us loaded and headed to the change rooms.There was never any pressure to purchase. Caroline suggested some staple pieces and mix and match additions from different brands and of various price points. All of which could be returned if necessary. I felt like I was shopping with a friend.

Caroline knew where to take me, helped with styles, sizes and gave me the confidence to try different pieces. After only a couple of hours we parted company and with my new purchases, some I would never have previously considered, I was headed home. Caroline and I did not meet again as I live 8 hours from Sydney. I was emailed a travel capsule of suggestions of the things I may need. She encouraged me to have a fresh look through my own wardrobe and over the weeks sent through images of items I may wish to purchase online. Knowing my size, my colours and what would suit me, Caroline introduced me to shops I had never heard of and brands I had never considered. Caroline regularly contacted me to check if I required assistance with sourcing any items for my travels. I leave in three days and feel confident I have a comfortable “feel good” wardrobe with everything I need. Caroline’s guidance and insight was always delivered in a friendly and stress free manner. I always felt she was suggesting and helpful and not telling me.
